  • Precautions

It is recommended that you strain the glaze before its first use. Boiling the pot in rice water will help seal the spaces between the particles of the base material and the glaze (cracks in the glaze, not flaws). This process reduces moisture and oil during cooking, preventing stains and odors. If sealing the glaze is difficult, soak the dish in plenty of water for half a day to a full day before its first use, then wipe off the water before use.

  • Handling

Before serving food, soak the dish in lukewarm water when for warm dishes, and in cold water for cold dishes. This will prevent soy sauce and oil from seeping through, while also helping maintain the desired temperature of the food. Over time, the texture of the dish will become more moist with each use. You can appreciate and enjoy its evolving character.

  • Care

Wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Ensure the product is completely dry before storing to avoid mold and odors. If storing it for an extended period, thoroughly dry the dish before placing it in a cupboard.

Tea stains or odors tea may develop with use. To remove odors, soak the pottery in baking soda water for half a day to a full day, then let it dry to completely.
