Kamishima's exhibition was held from December 5th, 2023 - December 10, 2023
It has been three years since Shima’s last event at MODESTE, and the theme this time is "A HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
Approximately 350 works were displayed, primarily featuring tableware used for the Japanese New Year. We were blessed with good weather, making it a delightful exhibition.

To create the pieces, porcelain clay is mixed with potter’s clay, and the potter kneads the clay with full force. After rough kneading, the process moves on to Kiku-kneading, which involves kneading while removing air.
