Sandblasted Arita Yaki Vase

Description

Bring timeless beauty and exceptional craftsmanship into your home with these stunning glass artworks, available for international shipping directly from Japan.

Each exquisite piece reflects landscapes you have seen, buildings and plants that have stood the test of time, flowing rivers, winds, and memorable moments. Each piece captures the essence of these elements, creating a beautiful, lasting tribute to the natural and man-made wonders around us.

Produced using the kiln cast, pâte de verre technique, the process begins with a china clay prototype, molded from plaster, and carved into relief. The prototype is then glazed and filled with glass powder or granules before being cast into glass in an electric furnace. After firing, the glass is meticulously finished by cutting or polishing. As each mold can only be used once, and is often the most exclusive glassmaking techniques, ensuring that every piece is a unique masterpiece.
